Accessibility
Last updated July 22, 2026
Reqoia is a staff-side toolkit used by government agencies, so accessibility is a requirement, not an afterthought. This statement describes our commitment and the steps we take to keep the Service usable for everyone.
1. Our commitment
We aim to make the Service perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and magnification.
2. Conformance target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
3. Measures we take
- Semantic markup and labelled controls for assistive technology.
- Full keyboard operability and visible focus states.
- Color contrast and text sizing checked against WCAG AA.
- Respect for reduced-motion and other system preferences.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. When we identify a limitation, we prioritize a fix and offer an alternative way to complete the task wherever possible.
5. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Service. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us what happened and the assistive technology you were using so we can reproduce and resolve it.
